....the fascia and guttering for the lower storey has been installed this morning but not really photo worthy.
The last few days have seen me busy trying to get things organised for a 'potential' buyer to look through our current house. Vanity purchased, handyman organised, boxes and storage organised, contract of sale ordered with conveyancer (with a mid November settlement date), carpet to be purchased tomorrow and hopefully installed next week. Very busy times ahead! Now to hope that EBH don't have major issues and go over the contract end date. Early is FINE with us - more time for landscaping, pool etc.

- EDIT - Now a 'work at the local school' mum a few days a week while juggling the job of parenting 3 teenagers! I am a SAHM who does work from home occasionally, dedicated to raising 3 Godly, independent, healthy children. Loving the home building process though it is not without challenges. I have fairly free reign over the creative aspect of the project...just not the financial side!

Very quiet on site
....so I sent an email to Troy to see if what the reason was. I was still waiting on a reply to an email I sent on the weekend regarding possible damage to the house/site following our unwanted visitors on the weekend. The reply I received went like this :-
"There were some issues with material supply (fascia was scheduled for 31st May). Fascia and gutter will now be installed tomorrow with roof rail and roofing to follow. Given this all goes to plan, we will not have lost any time, just compressed the window that they would normally have to carry out the installation. Thanks."
I am still not sure where the external painters disappeared to?? Maybe the revised plan is to do upper & lower storeys at once

Thanks to AJ from (redo) my space who spent extra time this weekend mulling over colours for me and visiting the site to peer through the fences.

External Colours
Two days later and my head is still swimming with colours, designs and choices. It was a long and exhausting day, made that little bit easier by having Anastasia by my side. Here are the external colours we are using
BRICKS - Chocolatto
ROOF, GUTTERS, FASCIA, WATERTANK ETC - Colorbond Monument
RENDER, CLADDING & BARGE - Taubmans Mountain Shadow (no image)
FRONT DOOR - Taubmans Viking Grey (no image)
GARAGE DOOR - Colorbond Dune
EAVES & ALFRESCO CEILINGS - Bristol Greylocks
LAUNDRY DOOR - Taubmans Surfmist
WINDOWS & REAR STACKER DOORS - Airlite Bond Off White (no image)
Let's see how it actually turns out when on large areas, with shadowing, full sun etc. You can get the basic idea though...
