Yesterday, our amazing joiner installed the long awaited extra bits and pieces to fill in niches and gaps. We are stoked with the outcome!
Outside the kids' study - previously the school bag dumping ground |
Now a cupboard for each child |
And a drawer each for Brad & I |
Floating bookshelves in the media room |
Screaming out for some books |
Overhead cupboards in the laundry to accommodate the new hanging rail. The timber block needs to be painted. |
Not sure what will go in the cupboards - so much storage considering the other side of the room houses full length cupboards! |
We had a large niche upstairs that has been transformed but it needs some painting work to it before I reveal it. Within the next 2 weeks, Davella Kitchens will install all the desks and shelving units in the kids' study. Another exciting day in our household.
Looks fantastic Kerith - can't wait to see the study joinery!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much. You won't have to wait too long. To be installed the first half of this week - yay!
DeleteThe cabinetry looks amazing. I think i will give them a call im ready to do our cabintry soon so would like pricing. What finish are all teh cupboards in?
ReplyDeleteThanks Renee!
ReplyDeleteAll in polyurethane. Wish I could go back and re-do my kitchen now LOL. All up I paid $20K for a lot of stuff. Let me know if you would like a breakdown.
Ive spoken to them and they will come out one weekend to look at the items i need doing. I forgot to ask him if he does normal laminex or polytec cabinets, i need my laundry done and dont really need poly in there? or wood Veneer for home theatre cabinets??
DeleteHi Kerith, love your home and the joinery. Can you let me know if it was all done by Davella kitchens? How do you incorporate that into what the builders - eden bray- do? Thanks! Lauren
ReplyDeleteSorry Lauren, I have been away overseas.
ReplyDeleteAll this joinery was done by Davella as pictured above plus the study. It was all done 12 months after handover so it was well past Eden Brae time.
